I've been meaning to post this, but I didn't really have much else content to go with it and didn't want to just "waste a post" on something I don't have much to say on. Regardless, it's pretty cool and deserves a post of it's own, so I guess you'll have to just be OK with a short post.
Back in September, I got a pretty little envelope in the mail from the AQHA. Enclosed was an award for completing, in competition, as 3rd in the All-Around Amateur division.
Pretty neat, hey?
In other news, things have been pretty crazy the last few days. I was in a car accident on Friday morning and it's been quite hectic since then. Hopefully the insurance people don't write off the vehicle and we are able to have it repaired (I swear, insurance is such a scam!). I'm okay, the car is 'mostly okay' (body damage and a possible broken tie-rod).
I had plans of riding this past weekend but I was pretty sore and the weather was completely miserable, so I didn't get to take Suzie for a spin. It's a bit frustrating and sad that I haven't' ridden her since the beginning of November. Such is life when the days are short, the weather is miserable, and you have 7 million other things going on.
|As a sidenote, Suzie says hi.|
