In roughly ten to fourteen days these beast of a saddle will be joining my collection simply for the fact I cannot contain myself. Just start calling Suzie, "Valegra".
welcome to dressage. :) it's a lovely saddle and Suzie will love it. (also, I secretly yen for a western saddle...)
ReplyDeleteWe'll see what happens!! HAha.
DeleteNice! All horses need at least four saddles, it's a simple fact :P
ReplyDeleteIn that case, Suzie needs one more saddle still. :P
Deleteoooooh nice!! i hope you love it!! my jump and dressage saddles are both bates and i luuuuuvvvvv them (and cry big fat bitter tears when i consider that the jump saddle might actually not work out... ugh)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to try it out and see how it feels. A friend of mine bought the exact same one and she's short like me and says it fits her very well!
DeleteSorry to hear your jump saddle might not work :(
Can't lie, your horse doesn't need to be an "english horse" to ride english. My previous horse was a halter-bred QH and we did hunters. He moved like a giraffe and never placed in under saddle stuff, but was quiet and consistent enough to do fine in lower-level over fences!
